Emergency Kits

Media Engineer's Emergency kits are now available - basic maintenance for engineers who have to solve problems at the TV studio or data centre. All kits come with a manual to guide fault-finding from setting up and "testing your testers" to making measurements which are the only way of really discovering where problems are.
There are three kits presented in robust cases to keep as "grab bags" for when you need to solve a problem and have everything you need to hand.

Fibre Optics (grey) includes everything needed to test and verify infrastructure for both single and multi mode cabling. We include a hand-held microscope and both cable-end and port cleaners. 

Copper data (yellow) has testers and tools for cat5e, cat6 and cat6A allowing you to identify bad circuits and rectify.

Power (red) covers all the issues with mains power in the comms room, edit suite or data centre racks; Commando, IEC and MK13 adaptors allow the engineer to quickly identify bad power feeds. Documentation has full instruction to keep jobbing technicians safe around mains power.
